Project
The projects for the development of Very High Speed Broadband in the departments of Deux-Sèvres and Vienne have joined to form the joint project Poitou Numérique. The aim of the project is to make digital technology accessible to all inhabitants of the two departments, and to increase the connection speed up to 50 times.
From 2014 to 2018, the distribution frames of about a hundred communes in Deux-Sèvres were fiberized to boost users’ ADSL connections. From 2019 to 2021, the first phase of fiber deployment will take place. Finally, from 2022 to 2025, the entire territory will be connected to fiber.

Implementation of the management system of work situations within the framework of the contract for the design, implementation and operation of very high speed fiber optic public initiative electronic communication networks in the departments of Vienne and Deux-Sèvres. eProject GFI was used within the framework of the management system to monitor the evolution of the work situation.
